Districts

Scouting America Long Island is divided into six geographic districts, along with a division supporting our Scoutreach program. Each district is supported by a professional District Executive and guided by dedicated volunteer leadership, including the District Chair, District Commissioner, and District Committee, all working together to ensure the growth and success of units within their territory.

Each district offers an array of programs, activities and events. Through these districts, we’re able to make the greatest impact on the youth and families in the communities we serve. See calendar for dates of upcoming district events and roundtables.

Scoutreach Program

Scoutreach is dedicated to ensuring every young person, regardless of background or circumstances, has the chance to experience Scouting. We provide extra resources and support for Scouts in low-income, hard-to-serve urban and rural communities across Long Island.
