The Onteora Alumni Association (OAA) was established to support and promote camping at Onteora Scout Reservation.

Since the 1950’s, Onteora has been a family Scouting legacy, passed on from one generation to the next. Today it is one of the premier Scouting destinations on the East Coast, offering a traditional camping experience to more than 1,000 Scouts each summer and an active year-round camping program.

While so much in the world changes, the outdoor beauty of Onteora’s hiking trails, woodlands, and lakes has remained the same. Generations of Scouts, Scouters, and camp staff members have fond memories of their time spent at the “Land in the Sky.”

Through membership in the OAA, individuals can reconnect with other camp alumni, as well as help enhance and maintain the property for future generations to enjoy. The mission of the group is to:

• Provide financial support to Onteora Scout Reservation for the purpose of program development and capital projects.
• Serve as a volunteer corps to assist with maintenance of the camp property and facilities.
• Enable alumni to reconnect and socialize, including former Scouts, Scouters, camp staff, parents, and friends.
